I Didn't Go In The Sun Recently, Honest!
By Daniel J Kilburn

Sun spots and pigmentation changes during Summer often indicates one has reached a change in life. Either we have reached an age where our hormonal system is no longer able to keep our pigment making machinery in check, or hormonal changes are leading to increased pigmentation from going on the pill or being pregnant, or even through long periods of stress. The pigmentation may be stimulated by the sun but the cause is deeper rooted.

Sun spots and age spots are caused through multiple exposures to sun light over months and many years. How many age spots you get is often down to life choices made from a young age. Did you protect your skin from the sun? Were you a sun worshiper, did you go on sun beds when you were younger? Did you work outdoors? For those of you with more marks on one side of the face, which side of the car did you sit on? Did you wear a hat and gloves while gardening? It's not surprising that so called age spots appear on the areas where most sun exposure has been over the years namely the face, hands and then arms and neck.

Our pigment making machinery is constantly wanting to make more pigment in response to UV light and inflammation but our internal control systems, including our hormones keep it in check. It is only later in life or during times when hormones are upset (like during pregnancy) that the cells which make pigment break free of these bodily controls leading to pigmented marks. It is at this time when external help is needed, in the form of Thiospot. Thiospot naturally supports the control mechanisms on the cells which make pigment, slowing them down and helping the body's internal systems regain control.
