Cheap Skin Care Products - It Isn't Pretty
By Maureen Devine

Did it ever enter anyone's mind that maybe there is a reason that cheap skin care products are so inexpensive? You simply can't expect cheap skin products to help you achieve the results that some of the higher quality creams and lotions can. If you continue to expect them to, then they will continue to disappoint you.

Cheap skin care products are available for your use because it seems to be a standard of practice in the cosmetics industry to use readily available low cost chemical agents in their products in order to keep the profit margin at a respectable level while keeping a company's expenditures down.

The makers of cheap skin products continue to use these chemicals despite the fact that many of them are dangerous neurotoxins that are capable of causing a variety of problems. Depression, anxiety, hyperactivity, tremors, seizures, coma, and sudden death are all potential side effects that many of these chemicals can cause.

There are many other harmful ingredients used in cheap skin care products that are known to be, or are expected to be carcinogens. These chemicals have been linked to several different types of cancer, but a certain family of preservatives that are in widespread distribution are significantly linked to one kind in particular.

Parabens, a group of chemicals commonly used in cheap skin products, have been linked in studies to breast cancer in women. Samples of the tumors that were taken from unrelated cases turned up a significant amount of parabens on the inside of each of the women's cancerous tissue.

Cheap skin care products should be left alone until the U.S. Food and Drug Administration finally puts its foot down and bans these drugs from being used in cosmetics creams and lotions being manufactured in the United States. A similar ban has already been passed in Europe.

The members of the European Union passed a ban on many of the commonly used ingredients in cheap skin products a few years ago on their way to forming the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. The signers of the Compact are currently producing the safest products available to the mass market.

What the signers agreed to was to not produce any cosmetics creams and lotions that contained any ingredient that was known to or suspected of causing physical harm to any human being. You will not find any of the poisons used in cheap skin care products in their cosmetic lines.

Cheap skin products are a dangerous and unnecessary evil that must be stopped, but until it is there is only one logical place to turn to satisfy our skin care needs. That place is in the arms of the signers of the Compact, where we know that only the purest of ingredients will be made available to us.

Forget about trying to save a few pennies on cheap skin care products, and come over to the people that you can believe in. They value your health instead of the power of the almighty profit.
