Can Excrement Really Give You Fair Skin? Some Little Known Beauty Rituals
By Dennis Paguio

It's an amazing thing to discover the great lengths people go through to keep themselves beautiful. Anyone who is familiar with Hollywood should know that botox, breast implants and bizarre beautification rituals are just about as common as the color green is in a tropical rain forest. And it's not only celebrities who spend so much time, money and effort on improving themselves. Ordinary people have come up with some of the most odd and unique practices in order to maintain or augment their good looks. So are you interested in finding out just what the human mind is capable of when faced with the intense desire for self improvement, check these out:

Nightingale dropping facial: Whoever thought that putting excrement on your face would necessarily result in making you a whole lot more attractive? Well if kabuki actors and London salons are any indication, it does have its own magic! It is in fact a great facial solution for lightening your skin and was also used for makeup. The enzyme guanine in the nightingale's droppings makes it effective in healing your skin and bleaching it at the same time. And hey, if even monks can use it, it probably works!

Snake massage: OK so the idea of snakes crawling all over your body isn't the most relaxing thing in the world. And let's face it, most of us are frightened of that thought. But hey, a lot of people swear by it. The tingling and soothing sensation that snakes can bring can apparently do wonders for soothing your joints. And don't worry, the snakes are all non-venomous and wouldn't really bite you!

Pubic hair coloring: Just when you thought the quest for beauty couldn't get any weirder, here comes something that is meant for a part of you body that is hardly seen anyway. It's one of the oddest fads that has ever taken off. It's not a bad idea to try it but make sure it doesn't irritate the sensitive spot.

These are just few proofs that people will do absolutely anything to augment their looks. But hey, if it works, who are we to stop them (or ourselves) from using them, right?
