Stress and Intuition - Making Tough Decisions With Your Intuition Reduces Stress
By Ali Bierman

Making decisions using your intuition can reduce stress. Everything in life requires you to make a choice. Some choices are more difficult to make than others. You do not have to guess.

What if you knew how to make the best decision for you at the time? What if you knew what choice will best benefit you in the long run? Do you think you could reduce your stress level if you could take the guesswork out of decision making?

What if you knew how to follow your heart and listen to your instinct - which is really your Spirit, your soul, talking to you offering Divine Guidance?

Do you ever get a feeling or hear a voice tell you to take some action (an action you had no planned to take at all yet this command came out of the blue)? Did you follow the direction?

If you did were you grateful for that message? And if you didn't do you wish you had?

Those kinds of messages come to you all day long. Your mind is so preoccupied with thoughts that take you away from your current task that you fail to hear those accurate directions and so miss opportunities to make life more joyful than stressful.

What preoccupies you and shuts out that intuitive voice? The other voice in your head, the one I call the Little Voice. That voice, coming from your survival center in your brain, runs off your ego mind.

It wants you to stay safe and avoid taking any risks. So it gets very loud when you find yourself in a situation where you may make a step in a new direction--a direction completely unfamiliar for you.

What do I mean by that Little Voice gets louder? It will tell you things like, "This is a bad idea. You will fail. You will get hurt. Don't do it. No one really succeeds at this. Do what you know--at least then you know what to expect."

Ever "hear" those kinds of messages run through your head as you stood poised to dive into a new adventure? In fact, right now that Little Voice is telling what to think about this piece. It tells you what you agree with and what makes no sense at all.

Yes, those thoughts are that Little Voice acting, seemingly, on your behalf.

Want to shut off that Little Voice so you can hear what your intuition has to say about your proposed direction? Just tell the Little Voice, "Thank you for sharing."

Then stay 100 % present in the now because the message may come as a voice or it may come as a song playing on the radio, or a billboard you see while driving. Messages from your Spirit come in unexpected forms that you miss unless you stay present in the now and look/listen for them.
