The main thing causing depression to a lot of people is there looks.
An example of this is acne, i new a lot of people when i was younger
who had this and it led to them becoming depressed. They went on anti
depressants and even after there acne was gone they had to remain on
the medication. Physical looks can be and are a serious factor in the
causes of depression. People who are unhappy with the way they
look and always compare themselves to the looks of others often have
depression. This is more of a reactive depression, reacting to there
looks. Comparing there looks to others never goes well and this is
mostly for people who are sick of the way they look and are jealous of
others. It is totally natural being jealous of others and get
down about the way you look. Although the serious thing is, if your not
extremely depressed do not go on anti depressants. Because you may have
a change in mindset about your looks and before you know it you can not
get off the anti depressants, you now rely on them. Some people
need to take medication for depression. But others do not. Make sure
you work out what category you fall into and whether or not you should
take medication for depression. If you should not and you do, you may
find yourself reliant on anti depressants and leading you to a more
serious form of depression. Which may require you to be on them for the
rest of your life. I wish you all the best in your challenge!! |
