There are times when you look at your eye shadow pallet and you wish that some of those hues are also available in the form of lip colors. As luck would have it, there is a way to turn those eye shadows into gorgeous lipsticks.

You will need a lip brush, a tiny plastic spoon, a very small container where you can put your lip color, like a contact lens case and petroleum jelly. Put ample amount of petroleum jelly in your container. If in any case, you will find it difficult to mix things up, you can get a plate and have the mixing be done there and just transfer your do-it-yourself lip color in the container after. Some prefer mixing it right in the container so you won't have to clean up the stuff that you used.

Next, choose the color that you wish to work on. Once you have decided which eye shadow to use, get your tiny plastic spoon, scrape off some eye shadow and mix it with your petroleum jelly by the help of your lip brush. This is just like your painting class in grade school. If you think the color is too light, just add more pigment to your petroleum jelly mixture. However, if you think the lip color has gone too dark, add more petroleum jelly. Once satisfied, try your lip color because it is ready to wear.

You will definitely have this new lip color as your favorite. When your friends ask you where you got it, you can proudly say, you made it.
