One of the most important steps in having a professional and perfect make-up is to get the base right. You have to moisturize well, apply the foundation correctly and use a concealer. A well hydrated skin always looks better and it is easier to apply the make-up on. When putting on the foundation make sure you only put a little of it and with the help of your fingers and a sponge blend it in with a circular motion. The concealer helps you cover any shadow or line that shows through the foundation.

You lashes need nothing more than a bit of mascara, but your eyelids needs a bit of more attention. Always use eye shadow base before applying shadow. You can choose your eye shadow on the color of your eyes. If you'd like to enhance them use a lighter color, if not go for a darker one. Also it is recommended to use eyeliner as well, usually a black one.

If you want your lips to look natural use a pink or peachy shade, or one/two shades deeper than your natural lip color.
