So why do we sweat? Sweat is a natural body response to heat. It is the way in which our body cools use down when we are too warm. Sweating helps our body maintain a normal temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. Sweating usually occurs due to emotional responses to life, hot air and exercise.
Emotional responses to life:
Emotions such as nervousness, anxiety and a feeling of being scarred can cause a reaction in our body. This reaction is a secretion of epinephrine from the adrenaline glands which reacts on the sweat glands which cause you to sweat.
Hot Air:
Hot air obviously is another cause of why we sweat. Hot air heats up the body which causes the pores to open and release sweat in order to help us maintain our 37 degree body temperature.
Exercise:
Exercise again causes a lot of muscle movement which again causes use to heat up.
