A lot of people know all the benefits and advantages being fit and having a healthy body can bring. However, most of these people don't take the first step towards actually getting a healthy body and even fewer people actually work consistently on having a really fit and healthy body. A lot of the time it is not mainly because people are lazy, but more so because the world of working out and having the correct diet can be very confusing, especially if you really are starting at level zero.

In this article we will answer some of the most common questions people ask when it comes to dieting and getting a healthy and fit physique.

How do I get started?

The answer to this question is extremely simple; you simply just go to the gym and start lifting weights. Obviously it is not this simple but a great way to get started is to sign up for a gym membership and hire a personal trainer for 3-4 sessions, he will create a program dedicated to reaching your goals and will make sure that you perform all the exercises correctly and avoid injuries. Another great way to get started is to join a martial arts club, a spinning club, gymnastics club, dance club etc, at these places you will always have an instructor that guides you and tells you what you should improve. At the same time you are exercising while learning a completely new skill set.

How many times a week should I work out?

This is something your instructor will give you more details about. As a general rule of thumb you should work out at least 3 times a week and you can go up to 5-6 times a week without having to worry about overtraining and putting too much pressure on your body.

What do I do if I get stuck?

Unstuck yourself! On a more serious note, you just think back on your goals and understand that staying where you are won't help you get closer to your goals. The only way to get closer to your goals is to constantly pushing yourself and making sure that you have the right mentality when it comes to achieving your goals and taking action. The right mentality has nothing to do with feeling like a victim that is stuck and wants to give up.
