You may realize by now that there are different classes of carbohydrates and the healthy ones as well as the unhealthy options. Carbohydrates are necessary as a source of fuel for the body. A bowl of hot cereal can be very comforting and satisfying to have the first thing in the morning.

These may be baked and roasted, broiled or even mixed with other items to create a delicious salad. However do not assume that it is merely limited the boring old salad. You just need to spend a little time researching the internet and you can find an abundance of mouth watering recipes you can use to prepare those bean dishes.

#5: Snacks

Try snacking on healthy carbohydrates such as sliced cucumbers, apricot slices or other fruits and vegetables. You need to be creative when handling these food items. Fruits and vegetables need not necessarily be served in is natural from but you can dip it or saute it with your favourite sauce or toppings.
