Eating For Energy Throughout the Day
By Jason Daly

Many of us make the mistake of eating too much of the wrong things for breakfast and lunch, which leaves us feeling sluggish and ineffective at work. It's important to know exactly what kinds of food gives you the right kind of energy throughout the workday. Here are a few suggestions that will make you healthier, happier, and perhaps wealthier in the long run.

#1 - Don't overload on carbs for breakfast. You don't need to feel full -- you just need the right kinds of sustenance. Eggs and a piece of fruit is a high-fiber, high-protein choice that often lasts people throughout the lunch hour.

#2 - For lunch, continue to go easy on carbs. Soup, salad, and a half-sandwich should suffice, but remember to keep things light -- a heavy lunch will make you drag your tail well before the coffee break. Something with caffeine, such as a glass of iced tea, helps you stay on your toes, too.

#3 - If coffee works for you and makes you more productive, then don't be shy about taking a cup during coffee break. But if you want to take things to the next level, switch to a good herbal tea. It's slimming, it doesn't have as much calories as coffee, and it's really, really good for you.

#4 - Take supplements. Remember that no matter how healthy your lifestyle might be, chances are you're still not getting all the nutrients you need. A good natural supplement like Acai berry should fit in nicely -- it has fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help you stay in the game long after your co-workers start pining for closing time.

If you're a man and would like to get the most out of Acai berry, it would be best to find a product that's suited for your needs. Avoid Acai berry products that were made specifically for women -- use supplements such as these to get the REAL results you need!
