OK, it is time for a reality check. To put it in simple terms you are what you eat. Each and every time you are about to eat something you need to ask yourself a number of questions; is this food good for me? Is this food overly fattening? Are there too many calories in what I am about to eat. There is a very famous saying, a few seconds on the lips, a few months on the hips.
If you are really serious about losing weight you will start to watch what you eat. You need to have discipline, avoid foods such as crisps, peanuts, chocolate and take away meals.
It is not a good idea to starve yourself, basically just stick to the three main meals of the day; breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Another prudent idea is to not eat after six o'clock in the evening as it is so much harder to then burn off the calories that you have consumed after this time, unless you are a night owl.
