Living Happy - Exercising
By Brady Becker

It's a common belief that for our lives to be truly meaningful, we must be happy. Many would say that being happy is more important than anything else; if you're not at least happy with yourself and your life, then how can you enjoy your accomplishments and possessions?

It's very important to learn how to be happy with your current life situation. Here are three tips that can help you live a happier life. First, exercise will always provide a number of benefits, including helping you feel happier. People tend to view exercise as simply hard work, but it can do many great things for you.

Exercising causes the body to release endorphins, or hormones that create a sense of elation and positivity. These hormones can easily help to boost you out of a bad mood, so exercising to stay happy is a viable strategy.

Finding enjoyable hobbies is another way to ensure that your thoughts stay positive. Having a hobby keeps you mentally stimulated, with studies showing that they have a positive effect on mood. In fact, I have seen cases of people lifted out of a depressive state because they were able to immerse themselves in their hobbies. A hobby can serve as a way to occupy oneself and get away from the situations that cause depression.

Lastly, try switching things up in your diet to make sure that you're not eating foods that are damaging to your moods and your outlook. Foods that are high in sugar are notorious for playing with our feelings and causing us to feel down, so avoid them whenever possible.

Instead of eating such high-sugar foods, try adding more natural fruits and vegetables to your diet. Eating these foods regularly will ensure that you get all the nutrients you need to keep your attitude positive. You'll notice a difference just from trying this for a few weeks.
