Diet & Exercise For Self Empowerment
By Terry Poster

When we speak of personal growth and self empowerment, we are not just referring to growing your mind, and growing your paycheck. Body, mind and spirit are all segments of your being that need to be honed and grown.

Maintaining a good healthy diet and having a regular exercise program is vital to your self empowerment process, and just as important as the growth of your mind and spirit. When body, mind and spirit are all working in harmony together, you are performing at your peak.

First and foremost when addressing your body's needs, find a diet that best fits your lifestyle and philosophy, but avoid overeating and excessive drinking. Eat small portions at each meal, but include healthy choices and snacks such as protein bars, nuts, and fruits and vegetables. Try to maintain a slight edge, because when you are over full your body tends to slow down, and your performance is sluggish.

Keeping sugar and caffeine intake down will also help. Also drink plenty of water each day. See a nutritionist to get more great food ideas, and see what food supplements you can add to create a well rounded nutrition plan. Keeping your weight down will also help keep your energy levels high. Join the Y, or a nearby health club, and get started on a regular exercise regimen if you haven't already.

Exercise at least 3 to 5 days per week, 30 minutes or more per day. See a personal trainer at the facility to get your work out fine tuned, and to work on aspects of your body that need the most work. Personal trainers usually have a free trial at first, and then depending on the facility you enroll with, are usually pretty affordable, and will help you get the most for you money. I recommend seeing your doctor before starting your exercise program just to see if there are any restrictions to your work out.

Indeed a healthy diet with low fat foods, and good nutritional supplements, coupled with a quality workout program will go a long way in syncing with your mind & spirit so that you may be performing at peak level in all that you do.

This was just an overview of a diet and exercise program as it relates to personal development and self empowerment, contact me to get more information on in depth programs for these and other personal growth and self empowerment related items.

I was a former physical laborer with the public utility company until back problems and rotator cuff surgery forced me to look for other options to produce income for my family. While laid up due to surgery I discovered network marketing and my life changed for the good. I had never done anything like this or even imagined doing anything like network marketing before, but within 18 months I had produced a 6 figure income working from my home.

I attribute a great deal of my success to devoting myself to a personal growth program and I invite you to learn about many of my secrets to success by visiting http://www.terryposter.com.
