4 Methods to To Flatten Your Stomach
By Tobia Hanson

Getting a flat stomach is something many of us dream of and few achieve. Fortunately, it doesn't just have to be a dream anymore! You can get a flat stomach without spending hours and hours at the gym. In fact, there are several exercises that can be done anywhere and which will help tighten those muscles and help you lose that paunch.

Shower Suck Ins

Each time you shower, take a couple of minutes to stand straight, with your feet about hip width apart. Put your hands on your hips and thrust your hips forward, pushing your shoulders back. You should feel your stomach muscles tighten. Repeat 10-20 times. You can do this anywhere, really, but if you do the exercise each time you shower, it will remind you to be consistent.

Twists

Put your fists up in front of you, as if you were about to do bicep curls. Now, without moving your lower body, twist to the left and then to the right. Repeat 10 times. This is another exercise that can be done anywhere. Although it isn't directly working your stomach muscles, this simple exercise will tighten the obliques, reducing love handles and giving the support your stomach needs to stay flat.

Crunches

Forget the sit ups, most people can't manage them anyway and they can cause a strained back. Crunches are an easy way of doing the same thing, working those stomach muscles to burn fat and flatten the stomach. Lie on your back on a firm surface, cross your arms on your chest or behind your neck for support and lift your upper body about 6 inches off the floor. You'll feel the burn!

Touch Your Toes

Simply reaching down to your toes, then up as high as you can is a great stretch. Despite the fact it seems very simple, this is actually quite good for burning calories which reduces the fat in the abdominal area. Stretches also condition the muscles, making that belly flatten out. This is something you can do after a shower, or even as a stretch to get the blood pumping after sitting at your desk too long.

Getting a flat stomach is not easy, but it also doesn't require hours of strenuous workouts at the gym. If you are looking for a method that doesn't need a lot of time and can be done anywhere, all of the above exercises meet the requirement.
