3 Great Reasons to Hire a Personal Trainer
By Harold Baldwin

Most people exercise without a personal trainer, and although they can be great, they are also somewhat expensive. They may be out of your price range for regular usage, but there also might be a few times when you absolutely may want to use their services. Here are three great reasons to hire a personal trainer.

  1. You have no idea how to exercise. You've been a couch potato for so long you have no idea where to start or what to do. If so, congratulations for taking the first steps! Hiring a trainer can get you started correctly and safely, and after a while you may feel comfortable continuing on your own.
  2. You are simply not going to exercise on your own, at least not regularly. I can tell you it's much easier to go to the gym, whether at 6AM, lunchtime, or after work, if you have an appointment with a trainer to keep than if you don't. My friend Bob finds he makes all his scheduled workouts with his personal trainer, but barely makes 50% of the others! Obviously a having a trainer works for him, and does for many other people.
  3. You're stuck in an exercise routine and can't seem to break out. You may need someone to show you different and perhaps more efficient and effective exercises for a few weeks before you continue on your own.

Personal trainers are great, no doubt, and some people wouldn't dream of working out without one. However for most of us mere mortals, there are times when hiring a personal trainer may make perfect sense!
